Our original bread-and-butter business, WildChina specializes in delivering exciting culture and adventure trips for individual and small group travelers to China's many far-reaching provinces. Our aim: to help you discover the real heart of China, uncommercialized, armed with real insights from best-in-class guides, and all done in absolute comfort and ease. Whether it's hiking the shimmering terraced hills of Guilin, visiting hidden Tibetan villages, attending the annual horse festival in Inner Mongolia, or biking the hutong alleyways of Old Beijing, we make every effort to include that something extra to help you get the most out of your China experience. No matter how remote the destination, we also always maintain our uncompromising level of service excellence, comfort and client safety.

Corporate Services & Event Management

WildChina regularly works with major international corporations to provide China event planning and travel management services. In recent years, we have been retained by companies such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, McKinsey & Company, and Nike to deliver a range of services ranging from keynote events and pre-/post- conference tours, to complete logistics management. We are also recognized for establishing many a travel industry "first" - the first company board meeting on the Great Wall, gala dinners in the Confucius Temple and keynote events in the Shanghai Museum to name a few - all as part of our drive to create truly unique, once in a lifetime client experiences. Some of our frequently requested corporate services include:

  • Conference Management and Evening Programs
Example: Hosted senior management meeting for a major sports apparel brand in the scenic backcountry of Kaili, Guizhou. Services included day-time excursions, hiking, site-seeing trips and a gala dinner and local performance in a Miao minority village.
  • Deluxe Day Excursions
Example: Hosted a global investment bank's board of directors on day excursions in Shanghai and Beijing. Themed tours included the French Concession, China's Art Heritage, hiking the Great Wall, and Contemporary Art in Beijing.
  • Team Building
Example: Organized for a large UK education company a Beijing WildRace event,  WildChina's proprietary team building offering combining team oriented challenges with exploration of Beijing's districts and interactions with residents via their local customs.

Educational & Special Themed Journeys

Interaction. Immersion. Discovery. WildChina delivers on all three when working with universities, international schools, and NGOs to provide custom made itineraries tailored to meet the specialized needs demanded by such institutions. We also tap into our entire WildChina Network of local specialists and advisors to ensure that our expertise and knowledge is brought fully to bear. Whether it's creating trips that help you learn Kung Fu at the Shaolin Monastery, probe China's modern art scene, or see first-hand the country's ecological problems and even take part in related conservation efforts, WildChina is commited to helping our clients reach a deeper level of appreciation of China's people and culture. Our education and special themed journeys are divided into three categories:

  • Cultural Immersion Programs
Example: Hosted 200 int'l student group on an education and experiential tour of Chinese culture around Beijing. Events included treasure hunts in the Forbidden City, calligraphy and kite-making workshops, and overnight camping with local children on the Great Wall.
  • Research Expeditions
Example: Hosted a leading US museum on an intensive study tour of Chinese gardens. WildChina arranged for private access to exclusive private gardens, including Qian Long Gardens (Forbidden City) and Guo Gardens (West Lake, Hanzhou). Also organized interviews with leading garden expert Ye Fang and other preeminent scholars.
  • Reality Tours
Example: Hosted the research arm of a global energy company in visiting coal mines and mining towns in Shanxi and Hebei. Assisted in developing understanding of the social, economic and environmental issues surrounding energy development in rural China.
